Big changes in Washington and (I promise) some changes around here. We'll be shifting this blog to a new address and giving it a new name sometime later this month. I really need to do some online housekeeping and it's simply going to be easier to start fresh. I'm waiting for the folks at Qumana to update their software so it works with the new version of Blogger.

In the meantime, today marks a shift in power in Washington. It'll be interesting to see what the new folks can do. There seems to be a real mixed bag of opinions on whether the Democrats will really be able to move their programs forward as fast as they'd like. And there are some very vocal critics of the Democrats, folks who don't like the idea that the Dems will likely approve the money President Bush wants for Iraq. Much more on that - later. For now, a tantalizing little tidbit that's floating around the blogs this morning. Just something to make you feel nice and safe and secure.
