Homegrown and Beyond

Our on-air blog references today are all homegrown - Arkansas-based blogs. We think you'll enjoy them as much as we do. And become regulars!

Arkansas Media Girl tackles the big boys with both barrels blazing. Consensus is that she says what others may be afraid to say.

Headquartered along what some call Arkansas' "Western Wall", the blogger is a TV/Radio guy who doesn't hide his political feelings.

Fun and frivolity abound over at Matilda In The Rock, led by Edna. Funny, but not afraid to step on toes and make a point. Another "must-read".

Then, of course, there's the very popular Arkansas Times blog. They break more news here than darn near any other news organization.

Politics galore over at the Bullwhiz blog. They pull in stories from papers across the state and beyond. Great spot to get a good daily dose of what's happening around the state.

And, if you have a really deep interest in broadcasting in Arkansas, check this out. Comments from people obviously in the biz make for great reading, too!

Bonus Blogs

Now, some blogs we rounded up over the weekend. Some of them made the updates. Most didn't. No particular order. Just click and read.

The President on the pressures of office and balancing his life.

Another take on the same topic.

Yet another argument - if Bush meets with Sheehan, the terrorists win. Say WHAT?!?!?

Oh, but maybe THIS explains it all. Excercise your way to the Bush inner circle.

How about a little science lesson. It's getting warmer out there. And problems are happening. Scary stuff, if true.

As long as we're back in school, let's do some history, too. What a difference three years DON'T make. Deja vu, all over again.
